WELCOME TO OUR WEBSITE!
The members of Winter Street Baptist Church would like to welcome you to our church website. As the Lord leads you, we invite you to come and visit with our friendly church family this Sunday. We hope the information you find here will be helpful to you as you consider attending one of our services or participating in one of our activities.
The People of the Church: We are genuine and caring, and they show love for one another in many different ways. We strive to create an atmosphere for worship that is both dynamic and devotional, one that is acceptable to the awesome God who is the object of our worship. We believe our primary mission is the Great Commission, and we are constantly seeking ways to reach men, women, boys, and girls, with the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Our Ministry: Our ministry is one of seeing to the spiritual needs of those in our community as well as supporting our foreign missionaries and other state and local ministries. Our members care deeply for those who are living apart from God and in desperate need of salvation through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Our Dress Code: Our dress code here is simple, from jeans and a t-shirt to a three piece suit, you can dress however you feel comfortable and descent.
The Teaching: It's all about Jesus Christ! Our teaching is grounded in solid, Biblical teaching to help us get to know who God is and how we can live for Him. We leave nothing out, the entire counsel of God is is taught with love and a reverent fear of the Lord God.
The Worship Music: Our worship in song to Almighty God is a blended style of praise songs and hymns with our Praise Team leading in song and on special occasions our Choir brings us before the throne of God.
Young Adults: If you are a young adult we have a fantastic Young Adults Group. Among other activities our Young Adults meet every other week on Thursday evenings (child care provided) and they meet once a month for an offsite activity.
Utilizing Your Spritual Gifts: If you are looking to exercise your spiritual gifts we have many different ministries that is sure to fit the spiritual gifts God has intrusted to you.
We come from all walks of life, however, the single identity that we all share is that God has provided a way for us to live with Him in heaven for eternity. And that is through the free gift of eternal life that only He can supply; that free gift of salvation through His Son, Jesus Christ.
We hope and pray you will see and feel the love of God in our fellowship, a place where every Visitor is welcomed. We hope that when you visit you will find the presence of God’s Spirit as you worship with us.
If you and your family are seeking a place of worship, a place where you can grow in your faith and labor as a servant of God, we invite you to be an important part of God’s ministry here at Winter Street Baptist Church.
May the Lord richly bless you and your family.
To make parking easier for our Visitors and those having difficulty moving about, may we ask our regular attendees to park in the upper parking lots. Thank you for your help in this matter.
