I grew up attending Winter Street Baptist Church. In 2003, I moved to Connecticut where my husband was stationed while in the Navy and after spending 7 ½ years there, we moved back to Maine and came back to WSBC.  I graduated from the University of Maine-Farmington and Eastern Connecticut State University with degrees in Early Childhood Education.  I have two children that I homeschool.  I enjoy being a part of the children’s ministries here at WSBC and I love watching my children grow and learn about the Lord.  I also love building friendships and fellowshipping with others in the church.

Some of my favorite Bible verses are:

Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Isaiah 40:31 But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.

I have been attending Winter Street since I can remember. I grew up in this church, going to Sunday School and Youth Group here. I went to the University of Maine at Augusta and studied Architecture. About halfway through my college career I started getting more and more into Graphic Design. Since then, my passion for graphic design has continued to grow, and it is something that I love doing. I also like spending time with family and friends, I love music and going to concerts, and doing different outdoor activities.

One of my favorite Bible verses is:

Romans 8:38-39, "For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

My wife, Linda and I first started to attend WSBC in early 2004, and joined the Church in October of 2005.  I have been blessed of God with the wife He chose for me.  I’ve been privileged to marry my high school sweetheart and we have shared over 43 years of marriage together.  God has also blessed us with two daughters, Amy and Dawn, both of whom are married and have gifted us with four grandchildren.
When time allows I enjoy reading, with Louis L’Amour being my favorite author.  I’ve been to able collect many of his books, the majority being Westerns.  We enjoy going camping, with a campfire at evening being one of the highlights of the day.  What a time to sit back, relax, and just enjoy God’s beautiful creation.
Favorite Bible verses include:
John 3:16, "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."
2 Cor. 5:17, "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!"
Phil. 4:13, "I can do everything through him who gives me strength."
